Requesting a Therapist
We really understand that having a relationship with a therapist is just as important as the treatment for some clients, so this is why we do have a request option on our computer booking system, but, remember, please don’t presume our reception team will know this and always ask for the requested therapist at each and every booking. If a therapist has to attend a training course, go on holiday, or calls in sick, we will, of course, relocate your treatments for the same time but with another therapist we feel will suit your needs. Trust us!
Also, if you fancy a change and you would like to try another therapist for whatever reason, but you do not want to offend your present carer, don’t worry! We all specialise in different areas such as manicures, massage and facials so our team really enjoy seeing clients move around the spa.
Our wish is for you to be loyal to Sue Shields and not individuals so we are all aware that we have to deliver our very best as a team at all times to deserve that honour!
Free Gift Wrapping Service and Gift Vouchers available
Something a little different, the ultimate gift for a loved one or friend. Vouchers are strictly valid for 6 months and can be ordered and paid for simply by giving us a call. They are non- transferable and non refundable.
Appointments
As we endeavour to run on time, punctuality would be greatly appreciated. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment if you have not been before. If you do arrive late, then we regret that your treatment may be reduced.
Late Cancellations
Credit Card details are required to secure an appointment. We request that at least 24 hours notice is given when cancelling an appointment or otherwise 50% will be charged.
Availability
Please notify us of any prescription or non prescription medication at time of booking.
Duration of Treatments
These times are only approximate depending on the consultation.
Specialist Therapist
Some treatments with senior therapists are at an additional charge.
Bookings
A 50% deposit will be required for appointments of more than one and a half hours.
Mobile Phones
We would ask as courtesy to others that mobile phones must be switched off or on silent at all times.
Treatment Courses
These are to be pre-paid and are valid for one year. For best results, some treatments may require a course.
Relaxation
At the end of your treatment, please feel free to use our relaxation lounge where we offer a range of refreshments within a quiet environment.
Special Requirements
If you have any specific requirements, we will do our best to accommodate them. Please notify us at the time of booking.
Payment
All major credit cards, supported cheques and cash are accepted. There is a surcharge of 50 pence for amounts less than £10.00 on credit card purchases.
